Welcome to www.lumacollars.pet (the "Site"), operated by Luma Collars LLC ("Luma Collars," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Purchases through authorized retailers

Our products are sold through Amazon and other authorized retailers. When you click a link to buy, you leave this Site and complete your purchase on that retailer's platform. All orders, payments, shipping, returns, refunds, and customer service for purchases are handled by the retailer and the applicable seller, and are governed by that retailer's terms and policies — not these Terms. Any product warranty or return options are as described on the applicable product listing and under the retailer's policies.

Product information and disclaimers

We work to describe our products accurately, but we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, colors, or other content on the Site are complete, current, or error-free. Product appearance may vary from images shown.

Our glow-in-the-dark collars are designed to improve a pet's visibility in low-light conditions by absorbing light and glowing afterward. Glow performance depends on how much light the product has absorbed and other conditions, and naturally fades over time until the product is recharged by light.

A glow collar is a visibility aid, not a safety device or guarantee. It does not prevent accidents, injury, loss, or theft, and it is not a substitute for proper supervision, leashing, secure fencing, reflective gear, or compliance with local leash and safety laws. Always supervise your pet and follow safe practices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim any guarantee that the product will keep your pet safe or visible in any given situation.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its contents — including the "LUMA COLLARS" name and logo, text, graphics, images, product designs, and layout — are owned by or licensed to Luma Collars LLC and are protected by trademark, copyright, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the Site for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to:
 

  • Violate any law or regulation;

  • Infringe the rights of others;

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;

  • Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Site; or

  • Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful or deceptive material.

Email Communications

If you sign up for our email list, you consent to receive marketing and informational emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting hello@lumacollars.pet.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luma Collars LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
 

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Idemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luma Collars LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in full effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Luma Collars regarding your use of the Site.
